Archaeological City Tour

Visit: Temple of the Sun – Qoricancha, Sacsayhuaman, Quenqo, Puka Pucara, and Tambomachay.

At 1:40 PM, we will pick you up from your hotel and begin our exclusive and unique tour designed for you. We will visit:

• Temple of the Sun – Qoricancha: The golden enclosure during Inca times, entirely decorated with gold and silver, featuring temples dedicated to the Moon, the rainbow, lightning, etc.
• Sacsayhuaman: Colossal and megalithic stone constructions, finely carved.
• Quenqo, Puka Pucara, and Tambomachay: Famous Inca temples.

We will return to Cusco at 6:30 PM.

We begin our adventure at 7:30 AM with hotel pickup to explore the impressive Sacred Valley of the Incas, a landscape shaped by majestic rivers and fertile lands.

✨ Pisac: We will discover its imposing archaeological complex, admire the enormous Inca terraces, and learn about its fascinating history. There will be free time to capture unforgettable photos.

🍽️ Urubamba: We will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch, savoring authentic Peruvian cuisine with a great variety of dishes, salads, soups, and desserts. Along the way, we will pass through picturesque villages full of history and curiosities.

🏛️ Ollantaytambo: We will explore this Inca jewel, an ancient military, religious and cultural center, with impressive stone canals that reflect the advanced engineering of the Incas, here ends the tour of the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

🚆 Train Journey to Aguas Calientes: From Ollantaytambo station, we will board the Expedition train (departure at 3:37 PM or 4:36 PM) bound for Aguas Calientes. Upon arrival, our staff will welcome you and accompany you to your accommodation (just a 5-minute walk away). In the evening, your assigned guide will visit your hotel to provide a detailed briefing about the next day’s visit to Machu Picchu.

On this day our transfer will take you to the ecological bus station to the entrance gate to Machu Picchu.

– Guided tour in Machu Picchu: In the Inca City our professional guide will show you Machu Picchu with enough time to take pictures and visit important points of the Inca City.

– Return to Aguas Calientes, we will return in the ecological bus to the town of Aguas Calientes.

– Free time in Aguas Calientes, with the remaining time, tourists can stroll or shop in the village.

– Return to Cusco; we will take the train from Aguas Calientes station to Ollantaytambo station where our transfer will be waiting for you. Our transfer will be waiting for you to take you to Cusco.

🌅 Start of the Adventure
Our transportation will pick you up at approximately 3:40 AM for a 3-hour journey to the picturesque town of Mollepata, where we will enjoy a hearty breakfast before continuing to Soraypampa (4,250 m.a.s.l.), the starting point of our hike.

🥾 Hike to Humantay Lagoon
Before beginning, we will provide handcrafted trekking poles to make the ascent more comfortable. The hike lasts approximately 1.5 hours, passing through stunning Andean landscapes until we reach the magical Humantay Lake, located at the foot of the majestic Salkantay Glacier.

📸 Time to Connect and Capture the Moment
We will enjoy a spectacular panoramic view, with plenty of time to take photos and absorb the energy of this sacred place.

🍽️ Return and Lunch in Mollepata
We will descend back to Soraypampa, where our transportation will take us to Mollepata for a well-deserved lunch.

🚐 Return to Cusco
After a day full of adventure, we will return to Cusco, arriving at approximately 5:00 PM.

🚐 Tour Start – 8:30 AM
We will pick you up from your hotel to begin this incredible journey through the breathtaking landscapes of the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

🌿 Moray: Inca Agricultural Laboratory
Our first stop will be Moray, an archaeological site considered an ancient Inca agricultural laboratory. Its impressive circular terraces were used to experiment with crops and microclimates. We will have time to explore and take photos.

🏡 Maras Village
Back in our van, we will continue our journey through the charming village of Maras, known for its colonial architecture and ancient traditions.

🧂 Maras Salt Mines: A Natural Wonder
Our next stop will be the Maras Salt Mines, where over 3,000 salt ponds create a stunning landscape. Here, we will learn about the traditional salt extraction process, which has been passed down for generations. You will have time to enjoy the view and capture unforgettable memories.

🚐 Return to Cusco – Approx. 3:00 PM
We will conclude this amazing adventure by returning to Cusco, where we will drop you off at your hotel with a heart full of history and breathtaking landscapes.

🌄 Start of the Experience – 3:40 AM
We will pick you up from your hotel and head towards the breathtaking Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca). After a 2-hour drive, we will arrive at the community of Cusi Pata, where we will enjoy an energizing breakfast to prepare for the hike.

🥾 Ascent to Vinicunca (5,200 m.a.s.l.)
We will continue by transport for 1.5 hours to Phullawasipata (4,600 m.a.s.l.), the starting point of our hike. The trail is of moderate difficulty and will take approximately 2 hours to reach the summit, where we will be amazed by the panoramic view of Rainbow Mountain and its stunning Andean landscape.

📸 Time to Enjoy and Capture the Moment
We will have plenty of time to admire and photograph this natural wonder, surrounded by towering snow-capped peaks and the magical energy of the Andes.

🍽️ Lunch and Return to Cusco
We will descend along the same trail and head back to Cusi Pata, where a delicious and well-deserved lunch will be waiting for us.

🚐 Return to Cusco – Approx. 4:30 PM
We will conclude this incredible adventure by returning to Cusco, arriving at approximately 4:30 PM.
