Inca Jungle Trek to Machu Picchu 4 Days

Day 1: Cusco- Santa María: Biking
(OPTIONAL RAFTING: 90 SUNS from April to November)

Day 2: Santa María – Santa Teresa: Trekking
After a delicious breakfast, at 6:30 a.m. approx. we will be ready to make the first day of trekking towards Santa Teresa. The first two hours of our tour will be in ascent, in the journey we will have several stops to learn a little more of the wealth in flora and fauna of the zone in which we will find ourselves, one of them will be in a family house where we will relax for about 20 minutes here we will also be able to supply us with water and some rich tropical fruits of the zone, later we will cross a section of the Inca Trail that formerly connected the sacred city of the Incas Machupicchu with the city of Vilcabamba.
Here our guide will explain a little more about the history of the Incas and also the communication system they had in those times, at this point we will also have some of the most impressive views of the entire canyon of Huancarccasa then descend to the town of Quellomayo where we will stop for lunch, after a delicious lunch and a refreshing rest in the hammocks of our restaurant we will continue with the last 02 hours of walking to the thermal baths of Cocalmayo where we will have a good time to enjoy this very special place, after the thermal baths we will go to our final destination the village of Santa Teresa where we will spend our second night in a basic lodging..

Day 3: Santa Teresa – Aguas Calientes: Trekking

After our breakfast, at 7:00 a.m. approx. We will start the trekking towards the town of Aguas Calientes, first walk for 3 hours through the Aobamba valley to the sector called Intihuatana where we pass in small government control then continue to Inka Rakay where we enjoy our lunch on this journey we will see a series of waterfalls and will also have the opportunity to to contemplate the majestic mountains Machupicchu and Haynapicchu as well as the Intihuatana or solar clock that will be seen at the top of the mountain and other constructions of the Inca citadel of Machupicchu later the last 2 hours of walk will be next to the railway line until the town of Aguas Calientes.

Día 4: Machu Picchu
This is the most important day of the tour the day we arrive at one of the 7 wonders of the world, our last day of the tour starts very early to appreciate the sunrise at the Inka citadel of Machupicchu, we start the climb at 4:30 a.m. It will be 01 hour and a half walk to the citadel of Machupicchu and we will have a tour with our guide for 02 hours by the most important constructions and temples of this city after you will have time to explore Machupicchu on your own and perhaps climb the mountain Huaynapicchu or Machupicchu and other places of interest. Later you will return to the town of Aguas Calientes to take the train back to Ollanta or Cusco.
